Administrator and Director of Nursing

Mrs. Mino is a Registered Nurse with over 11 years or healthcare experience. Prior to joining Island Ambulatory Surgery Center as an Administrator in 2014, Mrs. Mino served as Vice President of Clinical Operations at a New York based healthcare management organization where she oversaw initial start up, accreditation and operations of multiple ambulatory surgery centers.

 Valentyna began her healthcare career as an ophthalmic technician in 2000, earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Kingsborough Community College in 2004, obtained a Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Adelphi University in 2006, and received a Masters in Nursing Administration from Long Island University in 2010.

In addition, Mrs. Mino is an active member in various healthcare and professional organizations. She has maintained her CNOR since 2007 and received her CASC in May, 2015. Valentyna has extensive experience with various accreditation agencies and has been a Certified Deemed Status Medicare Surveyor since 2010.
